COLORS is not a brand that briefed us. We founded it, developed it and still run it. Parisian high fashion fused with streetwear, and every stage of it, from the first concept to the pieces on the rail to the images that sell them, was made in this studio.
The idea itself. Positioning, name, attitude and what the brand is allowed to be, decided before a single garment existed.
The visual language that makes a rail of clothes read as one label: logo, type, labeling, packaging and the rules behind them.
Season after season of range building, from silhouette and material through to the finished lineup.
Technical documentation, sampling and manufacturing. Every piece in the portfolio was taken from drawing to delivered garment by the same studio that drew it.
The imagery shot in house, including the product photography the shop runs on and four separate campaign shoots.
The collection presented at exhibition in Paris, which is a different discipline from a lookbook and a different deadline from a delivery date.
Parisian high fashion fused with streetwear is easy to say and hard to make, because the two halves want opposite things from a garment. The tension is the point, and holding it takes control of both the design and the making, not one and a brief for the other.
That control is the reason COLORS is the clearest answer to what this studio actually does. There was no client handover in it. The brand concept, the identity, the collections, the tech packs, the sampling, the production, the product photography and the campaign imagery all happened in the same room, and it is still happening.
It is also the one brand where the portfolio shows both halves at once: the catalogue of products, and the shoots those products came from. Everywhere else on this site those two live in separate folders and never meet.
